The main roulette rule that players need to learn is that the house always maintains a slight advantage. I would consider this to be the number one roulette rule for players to understand before they take to the game. Of course, the house advantage can always be minimized to your advantage, but it can never be completely mitigated. Before I begin to share with you some of the other rules of the game, you have to understand this number one roulette rule. If you do, then continue reading.
This “Roulette Rule” guide will help you analyze each bet and play it with the maximum effectiveness.

We will take stock of the unique features of each bet, examine the individual risk and explain the payout.
The main purpose of roulette is for the player to make a wager on the result of a small marble that is spun around a wheel, that is itself spinning and which is divided into different pockets. Each of the pockets has a specific number and color. Players can wager on a certain number, or some feature of that number. Players can also gamble that the number that comes up will be even or odd, or that the marble will fall within the first 12 figures, Players can also place wagers within a column of numbers on the roulette wheel. And players can also wager that the ball will land on either red or black, or that it will land in the solitary zero pocket which happens to be green in color.
A primary roulette rule is that there are two distinct varieties of bets; there are outside bets and inside bets. Players can play any combination of these two types of bets as long as they observe the minimum and maximum betting limits of the table. To help you understand these two types of bets let me give you a short explanation. Inside bets are the numbers on the inside of the roulette table and is where you can place wagers for particular numbers. Outside bets are on the outside of the roulette table and give a variety of betting options such as even/odd, red/black. 1-18, and high or low.
Inside bets are place on the numbers or at the intersection of lines where the numbers meet. They can also be placed along the border of the individual numbers. When you place bets here, the roulette rule states that all of your bets combined must meet the minimum betting level for that table. That means if there is a five dollar minimum, then you can place five dollars on one number, three dollars on two numbers or five one dollar bets on five numbers.
The roulette rule states that if you place your money one one number, then that is called a straight bet. Straight bets have a thirty-five to one payout, but have some of the worst odds of any bet on the table. Lets take a look at some of the other bets that are available to players and the roulette rule behind each one. The split bet is a bet that is placed on two numbers. This bet is placed on the dividing line that seperates any two numbers on the board. This bet has a payout of seventeen to one and its odds of winning is not as bad as the straight bet, but it still is a pretty bad bet to make.
Outside bets have the best odds of any bet on the table. Some of them have almost a fifty-fifty chance of winning. But these bets are not played that often by players because roulette rule states that they only have a one to one payout. That is simply not a good enough payout for most players.
