Roulette is a game of chance that is played all over the globe. It is also a game that can be reduced to mathematical terms in order to determine which bet is more likely to win. Roulette probabilities is something that I have dedicated a large amount of time in learning, so that I could help you understand which bets are the best ones to place and which ones are the most likely to send you home with lighter pockets. So if your ready for a crash course in roulette probabilities, then continue reading this article.
Since there are two different versions of roulette, European and American, I am going to be giving you the roulette probabilities for each one separately.

The European table has one less zero then the American table, so I think that it is only appropriate to begin with that one. As I go through this article I will alternate between the two for various bets so that you can see which ones have a better chance of winning. You will be surprised at how big a difference the lack of a zero makes on the game of roulette.
One of the most common bets in the game, and the one that has the worst roulette probabilities is the single number bet. This bet has a one in thirty-seven chance of winning on a European table. That means that betting on a single number will cause the player to lose thirty-six out of thirty-seven times. That is only a 2.70% chance of winning, while the chance of losing is 97.30%. Not that good of a bet. On the American table, the single number bet is even worse. The player’s chance of winning is 2.63 %, while his chance of losing is 97.37%. Not a significant difference, but a difference all the same.
Now let’s see what the roulette probability is for the next most common bet, the split-bet (a bet placed on two numbers), Using a European table, the player has a probability of winning 5.41% of the time. Using an American table, the player has a 5.26% chance of winning. It doesn’t seem like a huge difference, but trust me, it is pretty significant.
Okay, so I have given you some of the worst roulette probabilities that exist out there, but you are probably wondering what the best ones are. The bet that has the second best roulette possibilities of winning is the column bet. Using this bet, the player has a 32.43% chance of winning on a European table and a 31.58 % chance of winning on an American table. The bet that has the highest roulette probabilities for winning is the outside bets. These bets include bets placed on red, black, even, odd, high and low. On European tables these outside bets have a roulette probability of 48.65%. On an American table the roulette probabilities for this bet stands at 47.37%.
This concludes my explanation of roulette probabilities. Hopefully this guide will give you a little insight into what bets have a greater chance of winning. Remember, roulette is a game of chance. Anything that you can do to improve you chances of winning will be of great benefit to you. If you take the time to learn these roulette probabilities, then you can increase your odds of winning. As a matter of fact, you may notice that by paying greater attention to the probabilities you will be winning a greater percentage of the time, and you may even notice that you are winning a greater amount each time. And who doesn’t want that?
