A lot of people have requested that I write an article on how to play roulette. It seems that there is a lot of misinformation on the internet and players want a clear,
concise guide on how to win roulette. So, reluctantly I consented. I have decided to pull together everything that I know about the game and put it in this guide to give
players a clear advantage over the table . If you are a green-horn player then this is the guide that you are going to want to take a second to read. And I am probably
going to regret this later, but I also decided to add in some of my favorite tips that will put a little more green in your pocket.

Roulette How To Play Step #1: The object of the game.

Okay, lets start off with the object of the game. Roulette has a very simple concept that all centers around the wheel, a board and a small ball. On the roulette board are a
variety of numbers which comprise the different bets, which we will get to in a moment. Players place their chips on the bet(s) of their choice and then the wheel is put
into motion. The dealer spins the ball in a counter-clockwise direction around the wheel and when it slows it drops into a slot. Whatever slot it falls into determines the
winner.

Roulette How To Play Step #2: Choose a table

In roulette there are two different tables. There is the European table and the American table. The European table has a single zero, and the American table has a single
zero and a double zero. This makes a significant difference on the odds. The European table has a house advantage of just over two percent and the American table has
a house advantage of five percent. Clearly the European table has the best odds.

Roulette How To Play Step #3: Inside bets

In the game of roulette there are a variety of different inside bets that you can make. By far, one of the most popular is the straight bet. This is a bet that is placed on a
single number (36 for example). This bet has a payout of thirty-five to one. A split-bet is placed on two numbers and has a payout of seventeen to one. This bet is placed by
setting your chip on the dividing line between two numbers. A street bet is on three numbers and has a payout of eleven to one. A corner bet is on four numbers and has
a payout of eight to one. A basket bet is a bet on five numbers and has a payout of six to one. A double street bet, otherwise known as an avenue bet, is a bet on six numbers. A double street bet has a payout of five to one.

Roulette How To Play Step #4: Outside bets

Now that we have covered the inside bets, it is time to talk about the outside bets. Outside bets derive their name from the fact that these bets are on the outside of the table. These wagers include bets placed on red or black, even or odd and high or low. These bets are often called even-money bets because they have a one to one payout.

The last thing that I want to do is too give you some tips to help you win. The first thing that you should do is to limit the amount of money you bring to the table. Have a firm amount in mind that you can afford to lose and stick with it. The next tip that I want to give you is to invest in a roulette strategy that will help lessen the house’s advantage. There are a variety of good programs on the market and they can really help you win more of the time.
