If you were looking to find some information on the roulette board, then you have come to the right place. I wrote this article to give you some information on the roulette board that will make it easier for you to play the game, especially if you are an inexperienced player. But even if you do have some experience with the game of roulette, then you may still want to read this article. I have included a few ideas on the roulette board that may be helpful even to you.
I would say that the majority of players don’t understand all the secrets of the roulette board. There are slight differences between the bets and their odds.

And what makes it bad is that most casinos make the best bets look like the worst ones, and the worst bets look like the best ones. Would you expect anything different from an entity who wants you to gamble your money away? I don’t thinks so.
A roulette board is split into two general betting categories. The most prominent ones are called the outside bets. They are called outside bets because they are located on the outside of the board. In most cases, it is pretty easier to figure out how these bets work.
The most popular outside bet is either on black or red. Using this bet, players place wagers on what color they think are going to come up. The second outside bet includes a bet on even or odd. When a player places this bet, he is wagering on whether the winning number is even or odd. These bets have a one to one payout and are therefore usually called even-money bets. This is kind of deceptive because it also implies that you have a fifty-fifty chance of winning. That is not the case however.
Another outside bet is the high or low bet. What players are wagering on is whether the winning number is between one and eighteen, or between nineteen and thirty-six. As with the red/black bet, this bet is also an even money bet that has a payout of one to one. It is also like the red/black bet in that the chances of winning are a little less then fifty percent.
The last category of outside bets are called one through twelve bets (otherwise known as dozen bets). This wager is made by the player placing a bet on one through twelve, thirteen through twenty-four, or twenty-five through thirty-six. This wager on the roulette board splits the numbers above the single and double zeros into three distinct groups. Each of these bets have a two to one payout.
The last class of bets are called the inside bets. These bets are placed on a single number or on a select group of numbers. These bets have the highest payouts of any of the outside bets but they also have the least favorable odds. Payouts on these bets vary among different casinos, but they usually pay out at a rate of thirty-five to one.
It should be noted that there are two different roulette boards out there. The American roulette tables have a zero and a double zero, while the European roulette tables have only the single zero. In both instances, these zero slots are neither red nor black, but are always green. Players also should take note that the European table has better odds of winning over the American version.
The majority of roulette players out there place their bets according to intuition or emotion. That is the wrong way to do it. Smart players use a system that cuts down the advantage of the house and allows them to win more frequently. This can help to even the odds on any roulette board and put more money in the players pocket.
