There are a ton of different roulette betting systems that a player can use to help even his chances of winning. While there isn’t one singular strategy that will guarantee that a player will come out ahead every single time he plays, there are a number of roulette betting systems that allow players to win a greater percentage of the time and cuts down the house advantage dramatically. And they certainly beat the way that most players approach the game. Most roulette players drop their chips all over the table in a haphazard effort to win.

They believe that if they keep mixing up their bets and scattering them all over the place without any regard to how they are doing it, that they will eventually get lucky. And this may happen if the players bet for a long enough period of time. But it is also just as likely that they will lose their entire bankroll and go home broke. No, you can’t approach the game of roulette without some kind of strategy, because then you are playing by the house’s rules. What you need to do is use one of the fine roulette betting systems and incorporate it into your game. Then and only then can you beat the house.

But finding a roulette betting system that works for you can be a frustrating experience. So I decided that I was going to give you an explanation of one of my favorite roulette betting systems. While none of this roulette betting systems are as good as some of the software programs that you can purchase, I feel that they are a good start for most players and may even give you a few ideas for you to develop your own system. So let’s not waste a single moment more and get right into the meat of one my favorite roulette betting systems.

I like to call this system the Double Quad Strategy. It is a basic system where players make bets on two street bets coupled with a corner bet and a single straight bet. Okay, I know that it sounds complex, but it really isn’t. What this system does at it core level is that the player is covering seventeen numbers on the board and there are no more than six side by side slots that aren’t covered by the bet. I will place two chips to cover ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen and fifteen. Then I will place two chips to cover twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-one, thirty-two and thirty-three. Then I will place one chip in a corner bet to cover seventeen, eighteen, twenty and twenty-one. My last chip will usually be placed on a single number, let’s say thirty-six for this example.

Now let’s look at the potential payouts for the Double Quad Strategy. The street payouts are five to one, and you have two chips on each one. So if the wheel stops on one of these bets you will collect ten chips. You will end up losing four chips (two from the other street bet, one from the corner bet and one on the single bet). You will then walk away with a six chip profit. The corner bets have a payout of eight to one. If the wheel lands on one of these bets, then you will profit three chips. You will lose two chips for each of the street bets and one chip on the straight bet. If the wheel lands on your straight bet number, then you get a big payout. The payout of this bet is thirty-five to one, so you will have a profit of thirty chips. That is after subtracting two chips for each of the street bets and one chip on the corner bet (that is a total of five chips lost to gain thirty chips). That is not too bad if I do say so myself. Because any roulette betting system is better than no system.
