Now we can begin to see the flaw with the system. Starting with a dollar bet, a player would have to place a five hundred and twelve dollar bet on the tenth bet. This flaw presents two problems for the player. He would have to not only have a large starting bankroll, but he would also run face first into the maximum betting limit. Not a very good strategy if you ask me.

But as I said earlier, the Martingale System is not a total waste. This system, as well as many other free roulette systems, can be incorporated into a players strategy. In fact, I own a piece of software that takes the best part of the system and applies it in a logical way that prevents the player from hitting the maximum betting limit or having to carry a large bankroll. This piece of software uses a mathematical algorithm to increase the players chance of winning, while reducing the advantage of the house at the same time.
