Today I am making a genuine attempt to be as unbiased as I possibly can about gambling with casino roulette. I want to point out that there are a large variety of systems, or strategies, that all claim to guarantee a large success rate for the game of roulette. But I also know that gambling at casino roulette is like gambling at any other game of chance. There are no systems that can offer a one hundred percent guarantee and even the best systems fail at times. If they didn’t occasionally fail, then we would all be super-rich and the casinos would all be closed.

However, there are a number of systems that have been used by players in such a way that they worked really better then they were designed to work. These players often take a mediocre system and turn it into a proven money-maker. Not every time, like I just explained, but enough to make them profitable.

Of course, there are mountains of statements that exist on the web stating that there is no system that can possible make gambling with casino roulette profitable. Most of them cite the words of Albert Einstein, who supposedly said “the only way to beat the game of roulette is to steal from the table”. So it seems that we have a conflict of views. We have those who say that the game can’t be beat with a system and those who have stated that they have beat the game with any number of different systems. Perhaps there exists a happy medium between the two. A place where players may not become rich, but have a shot at winning the game, nonetheless.

So if your looking for a system that wins all the time, then I am afraid that I have to disappoint you. You won’t find the ultimate gambling casino roulette system in this article. But I will give you some sound advice that will help you play the game better and will make your gaming sessions a lot more profitable. If you really want to find a system, then I encourage you to do your homework. There are a number of great systems that will help players walk away from the table as a winner, a greater percentage of the time. But if you are just looking for tips on improving your game, then continue reading.

Before you run out an find an online casino, I implore that you learn the basics of the game. The player who wants any chance of winning at roulette must develop a sound understanding of the game. They have to know, and understand, the rules of each bet and the consequence behind each loss. They have to understand the payout structure and how it relates to their game-play and they have to always maintain a cool composure. And this is just for starters.

Any player who wants to impose some form of structure on his or her wagering, should consider the safest betting choices. These are the even money bets; bets placed on dozens and on columns. Even money bets are the wagers that have the lowest house advantage of any wager in the game of roulette. And when these bets are used with the special rules of European tables (such as La Partage or En Prison), then the advantage of the house is cut down even more. As is usually the case in any gambling casino roulette bet, it is important that all of the players wagers have the lowest house advantage that they possibly can. This doesn’t mean that the player should never make any of the higher risked bets like the Straight, Split or Street. These bets are fun and have huge payouts, so to say that we should toss them aside all together would take some of the fun out of the game. I am merely saying that if a player wants to win more of the time, then he needs to stick with even money bets for the majority of his wager. He can occasionally do a risky bet, but it shouldn’t be his main staple of wagering.

Many of you who are residents of the U.S may not know that there are two separate versions of roulette. There is the very popular European roulette tables and the not so popular American roulette tables. This is because roulette is enjoyed by more people in Europe then in the United States. These tables have a number of differences, but these differences are not as radical as you think they are. A lot of the payouts are very close to each other, the wheels only have a few cosmetic differences and the layout of the tables look very similar to each other. There is only one major differences between the two tables.

The American roulette table has a single plus a double zero, and the European table only has a single zero. This is an important factor to consider when developing a European roulette strategy.

Let me highlight the differences between these two versions of roulette. Let’s begin by talking about how the American roulette table is set up. The American roulette wheel has thirty-eight numbers. All of these numbers, besides the zeros (which happen to be green), alternate between red and black. The numbers on the wheel are evenly divided between the odd numbers and equal numbers. As you can expect, exactly half of the numbers are odd, and half are even. And this can impact you European roulette strategy.

This difference between the two tables impact the odds in European roulette dramtically as compared to the American version. Since European roulette wheels have half the zeros that their American roulette cousins do, then the odds are effectively cut in half. The American version has a house advantage of 5.73%, while European roulette maintains a house advantage of 2.25%. This is because the zeros always reduce the chance that the ball will land on an even or odd number, or on a red and black number and if there weren’t any zeros, then the chances of winning would be equal to your odds of losing. That is why you have develop a separate European roulette strategy when you are playing the game.

Next I want to give you some tips that will enable you to develop your own European roulette strategy. The first thing that you will want to do is to place the even-money outside bets. These bets are red, black, even and odd. Statistically, these bets have the greatest chances of winning (hence the name even money bet). But if you combine these bets with the two special rules on the European table, then you will be able to work out a great European roulette strategy.

The two special rules are the En Prison rule and the La Partage rule. To understand the latter rule, then I am going to have to tell you about the former rule, so let’s take a moment to talk about “En Prison”. If you place an even money bet on a European table and the ball lands on zero, then the En Prison rule will be placed into effect. This rule will allow you to keep your bet on the table until the next spin without a penalty. On the next spin if the bet loses, then you lose the bet. But if you bet hits, then you win. Its like getting a free pass for a spin. The La Partage rule is very similar to this rule except you do lose half of the bet. But it’s still a great deal and cuts the house’s advantage down even further. These two rules combined with even money bets should be the foundation of any strong European roulette strategy.

Those of you who want to play live roulette, really need to learn the mechanics of this game of chance. But you not only need to know the mechanics of the game, but you also need to be able to analyze the various bets and the payout structure. And if you want to play the game well, you will want to learn everything you can about strategy and how to keep the house’s advantage to a minimum. I may not touch on every aspect of this game in the allocated space that I have here, but I can certainly give you some basic tips that will allow you to play roulette with skill and a lot more confidence.

If you want the skills and techniques that you need to play live roulette, then read on and I will teach you everything that I know. Well, almost everything.

Roulette is a game that has a very simple objective. A tiny ball is spun around a spinning wheel, while players place bets on where they think that it will land. If the players are correct, then they win. If they are not correct, then they lose. It really is as simple as that. When the ball falls into a pocket, the particular attributes of that pocket determine who wins and who loses. And during the course of game-play, players have dozens of different bets available to them, which makes it seem extremely complex to some people. But if you understand the basics, then these bets are as simple as they could possibly be.

The first point that must be considered by players before they begin the game are that there are two different versions of roulette. There are the American tables, which are popular in the United States and European tables, which are popular just about everywhere else. Most online casinos have both versions of the game and you can decide which one you like when you want to play live roulette. The American tables have wheels with thirty-eight numbers (numbers one through thirty-six, plus a zero and a double-zero). The European tables have a wheel that contains thirty-eight numbers (numbers one through thirty-sex, plus a single zero). While it might not seem like there is a huge difference between the two, the addition of an extra zero on the American table increases the house advantage. Let me submit this fact for your consideration. American roulette has a house advantage of 5.26%, while European roulette has a house advantage of 2.63%. So if you want to increase your odds of winning, then you should play live roulette on a European roulette table.

Both tables have one similarity between them. That is the fact that the players have to purchase special tokens to play the game. These tokens are unique to the table that they are issued and can only be used at that particular table. They cannot be used at any other table, even other roulette tables at the same casino. Now this similarity only exists at the traditional casinos, and it doesn’t apply to the live casinos. At the online casinos all the chips are the same because they are digital and can be cashed in with the click of a button.

You are now prepared to go play live roulette. I hope that you get as much enjoyment and satisfaction out of the game that I have over the years. I have enjoyed playing online roulette and it has even made me a few bucks in the process. Just remember to arm yourself with knowledge of the game and show up to the tables with a stron strategy.

There is one question that every roulette player will ask at least once in their lifetime. And this question is “can I win at roulette?” This is a question that seems very simple at its most basic level, but is one that is also very difficult to answer. In order for me to answer this question I have to first determine what you mean by “winning.” If you mean “can I win at roulette and retire a millionaire?”, then I would most certainly have to say no. But if you are merely wondering if its possible to beat roulette on a consistent basis, then I would most certainly have to say yes.

There was a point in time when I wanted to have the “can I win at roulette” question answered.

And after years of trial, practice, tears and tribulations, I have formulated some tips that will allow you to beat the game of roulette a lot more then if you approached the game with no strategy at all. You don’t have to ask, can I win at roulette anymore my friends. I am going to give you the tools you need to make it a reality.

My first bet is to bet on a color. This is a classic outside bet and has almost a fifty-fifty chance of winning. Betting on black or red also has a two to one payout and the odds are pretty damn good. This bet is always worth trying out because you can win a greater percentage of the time. The only thing that really keeps this from being the greatest tip I can give you are those darn green colored slots (they’re pesky aren’t they?). Use this tip and you will be asking “can I win at roulette?” a lot less then you used to.

The next tip that I can give you is to find a table that has a low minimum bet and a maximum bet that is fairly high. Of course, we would all prefer to not have any limits at all placed on the table, but then the casinos would be vulnerable to progressive systems. And they aren’t going to let that happen. There are rumors that “no-limit” tables exist, but to be honest with you I haven’t been able to find one.

Another tip that I can give you is to start with the lowest bet that is possible on the table. Make your bet the table minimum. If the table has a five dollar minimum, then bet five dollars. Hopefully, the table will have a dollar minimum and you can get a real good start. This gives you a little room to try a progressive betting system. This is where you double your bet after each loss. When you eventually win, then the return on your bet will be enough to cover your past losses and return a profit. That is, until you hit the table maximum.

The next bit of advice that I have for you is crucial. Do not get frustrated. Players who lose their heads and get overly emotional have a far greater chance of losing than players who keep a level head. Always remain calm and always be looking out for any edge that you can use to win. This is very, very important.

My last piece of sound advice is to invest in a roulette strategy that works. This is often all that it takes to give a player a better chance of winning. I have used roulette systems for years now and they have done very well for me. They won’t guarantee that you win every single time, but they do improve your chances. Hopefully, you will be able to use all these tips to improve your game and come out a winner. Now you will never have to ask the same tired question, “Can I win at roulette?” because you will know that you can.

Ever since the creation of the game of roulette, gamblers have tried various ways of cheating at roulette. These players have done this in order to gain an advantage over the house and win a greater percentage of the time. Now I would never advocate cheating at roulette, and in fact I think that it is quite unnecessary if you approach the game with a legitimate strategy, but I thought it would be interesting to look at some of the ways that players have tried cheating at roulette. If your with me, then read on.

Of course, it wouldn’t be fair to talk about the players cheating at roulette if I didn’t also take a moment to talk about cheating casinos.

Yes, that’s right, there has been a number of casinos over the years who have tried cheating the player. These are a mostly a thing of the past due to betting regulations for traditional and online casinos, but it is an interesting historical fact, nonetheless and deserves some space of its own in this article.

Lets start with the methods that the casinos used to try cheating the players before we move on to players cheating at roulette. Before 1931, the year when gambling became legal in Nevada, it was quite common for gamblers to play on rigged wheels (without their knowledge of course). In fact, it was so common that the Nevada legislature even took up the issue in a special assembly of the legislature. Rigged wheels were operated by pedals worked by the dealers. They would merely stop the wheel on a number that no one was betting on. It was pretty sneaky, but came to an abrupt halt in 1931 when the Nevada legislature established a gaming board to oversee the casinos. Today, oversight of the casinos is strict and this rarely ever happens.

Now lets take a look at some of the methods players used when cheating at roulette. The first method that I want to talk about is late betting. This was a very sneaky move that could only be pulled off by the most skilled cheaters. What the cheater would do is try to sneak their bets on the board after the ball has landed in a slot. This would usually be accomplished by waiting for the dealer to look at the wheel after the spin, or by distracting the dealer with the aid of another person. Some players would even try to remove their losing bets quickly after a spin. Both of these types of late betting were put to rest when casinos started adding video cameras and pit bosses to the tables.

Another method that was used by players cheating at roulette was tampering. Very desperate gamblers would try just about anything to change the way the wheel behaved. They would apply glues to the pockets of the wheels and use magnets to change the behavior of the ball. Some would even go as far as tampering with the wheel itself to produce a more favorable result. Can you imagine that?

Fortunately, the days of “wild west roulette” has ended. Casinos have to meet strict standards of compliance with the accepted rules and best practices of the gambling industry and players are prevented from cheating at roulette by the use of cameras. And for that, I am glad. After all, there is no reason to cheat at roulette. If you want to win, then all you have to do is use a good strategy and play with your head. I hope that you have enjoyed this article and wish you the best of luck in all your gaming endeavors.
