Best Roulette

People often want to know what the best roulette game is to play. They often approach me and ask me if the European version or the American version is better. And my answer is always the same; “It depends on what you mean by what the best roulette game is.” It all depends on whether you are looking to just play the game for entertainment purposes, or you are looking to play a game that gives you the best chances at winning. So, let’s start off with the former and assume that you are looking for a game that is purely for entertainment purposes.

For me, the American version of the game is the best roulette game for me. That is because I particular like how the wheel and the board is set up.
Best Roulette

Of course, this is a highly subjective viewpoint and will vary from player to player. I feel that this wheel is way more practical then the European counterpart. The odd and even portions are right next to each other, and the red and black ones are also next to each other. Also the first and last eighteen spots are next to each other. So, if your looking for the best roulette game in terms of practicality then I would have to say that the American table is better then the European.

But, if your looking for a table that is very beautiful and symmetrical then I would choose the European version as the best roulette version. It just has a nicer look to it, in my opinion. Of course, neither practicality or beauty is what most gamblers are looking for when they ask me for the best roulette table. What they are looking to find out is which one offers the better odds. And to that I would have to say the winner is the European version.

The European version is the best roulette version in terms of odds for one solitary reason. And that’s because the wheel on a European table only has one zero, as compared to the zero and the double zero on American versions. Now, this doesn’t sound like a big difference, but believe me when I tell you that it has a dramatic difference on your odds of winning. The American version has a house advantage of approximately five and a half percent. The European version has an advantage of about two and a quarter percent. See, by playing the European version you are already doubling your odds of winning. Most European tables also have rules that make it even easier to win. These rules include the La Partage Rule and the En Prison Rule. And many European tables have special rules that include progressive payouts. We’ll get into these rules at a later date.

As you can see, choosing the best roulette game can be aesthetic, practical or profitable. But, what it ultimately comes down to is what you are the most comfortable with. The primary purpose of any game of chance is its entertainment value. Games are supposed to be played for enjoyment. And that includes the game of roulette. You should choose one that combines the best characteristics and makes the game more enjoyable for you. If you find the kind of game that best suits your style of play then you have found the best roulette game. Now, go out there, have fun and find the best roulette game for you.
